Caribbean flair in Altea

Altea, is a small town on the Costa Blanca. Here you will find instead of sand, pebble beaches. The sea is often turquoise colored in the Caribbean flair. On the beautiful beach promenade you will find many small cafes, restaurants and shops.

Altea is a popular tourist destination and has a historic old town whose main feature is the church of La Mare de Déu del Consol with its domes of blue and white tiles.

In addition to tourism, Altea also has a major fishing port from where fishing boats go fishing year-round.

Altea, like so many small towns on the Costa Blanca, has lost nothing of the small Spanish fishing village.
